ARE YOU READY FOR THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST (2 COR. 5:9-11)

2nd Corinthians 5:9-11 | Are You Ready for the Judgment Seat of Christ?

We are in 2nd Corinthians 5. Of course, on Wednesday nights we have been studying 2nd Corinthians. Tonight, we will focus in on 3 verses. There aren’t a lot of verses on this topic, but the subject comes up in these verses, so it is important.

2nd Corinthians 5:9 “9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”.

In this passage of scripture, we read about a very important event that is in the future of all of us if you’re saved. That event is known as “The Judgment Seat of Christ.”. I want to speak to you on the subject of “The Judgment Seat of Christ”. I really just want to ask you 1 question tonight. I pray that the Holy Spirit helps me to drive in this question. Hopefully it’ll get driven into your heart. The question is “Are You Ready for the Judgment Seat of Christ?”. “Are You Ready for the Judgment Seat of Christ:”. In this passage, the Apostle Paul brings up this future event. t’s actually a prophetic event. It is something that will happen in the future. There are several things that we can learn from this passage in regard to “The Judgment Seat of Christ.”. I’d like to point them out to you.

Point 1 – The Certainty of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Look at how Paul words this in verse 10 “10 For we” This is referring to Paul and the Church of Corinth but really to all saved people. “For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”. When Paul speaks this, he says this with certainty.

I want you to understand that the Bible teaches that there is a set day of judgment for all people. The Bible teaches that every single human being will at some point stand before God at a judgment. Hebrews 9:27 “27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. The word appointment means that you have an appointment. I don’t know when that day is, and you don’t know when that day is, but God knows when that day is. There is a date set for every person. The Bible teaches that every single person will stand before God on a day of judgment.

Hebrews 4:12 “12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”. Hebrews 4:12 is very famous but notice the next verse “13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”. The word “creature” is talking about all of creation including humans and animals. That phrase “with whom we have to do” is an interesting phrase to me. It doesn’t sound like much, but it means that you’ve got an appointment like we talked about. You’ve got something to do with the God of the universe, the God of all creation, the one who everything is manifest in his sight and all things are naked and open unto him. The Bible says that we have an appointment unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. See you’ve got a day in which you will meet God, in which you will stand in judgment. Why? Because it is appointed unto men to die once but after this the judgment.

Let me just quickly talk to you about the different types of judgments that the Bible talks about. It’s interesting to me that Paul feels the need to say, “For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ.”. He emphasizes that all of us are going to appear before Christ, speaking about the certainty of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Now why is it that Paul feels the need to say we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ? By the way, which is not the only time he says it. My thought on this is because most Christians aren’t even aware of such an event that they are scheduled to attend. They don’t realize they have a meeting with the God of the universe.

I believe that if you walked up to the average Christian in this world and asked what they thought of the Judgment Seat of Christ, I think the average Christian wouldn’t even realize this event was going to occur. Those who do know about it don’t think about it. Those who do think about it don’t align their lives to it. I am here to tell you tonight and the Apostle Paul is here to tell you that we will one day stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. We will stand before the Lord Jesus Christ.

People like the idea of standing before Jesus Christ one day. We will praise him and worship him and all of that is true. I’m here to tell you though that is not the only time you will stand before him. There’s also a time that you will stand before Jesus Christ as your judge. Now there are two judgments that the Bible talks about for two different types of people. One judgment is for unbelievers. The other is for believers. I want to explain this to you because I think that sometimes believers have this idea that the day of judgment is referring to unsaved people when they get thrown into hell. Though that is true for the unbelievers, there is also a judgment for believers. There is a judgment for the unsaved and there is a judgment for the saved. There is a judgment for the unbeliever and there is a separate judgment for believers.

In Revelation 20:11 we have the judgment for the unsaved. “11 And I saw a Great White Throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead,…”. These are the people that will be judged at the Great White Throne. This is not believers because believers are never referred to as dead. The Bible says “whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die, believest thou this?”. “12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”. Unbelievers are going to be judged by their works and they’re going to be found wanting. The Bible says, “As it is written, there is none righteous no not one.”. The Bible also says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”.

Now I believe we will be present at the Great White Throne because the Bible says that the whole heaven and earth fled away from the face of him. There is going to be nowhere else to go. We’re all going to be there. You will not be judged at the Great White Throne as a saved person, but you will be present. However, there’s another judgment we read about.

Romans 14:10 “10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ.”. We have a tendency to want to judge other people, but we need to realize that we will also be judged one day. See, the first thing I want you to notice is the certainty of the judgments of Christ. It doesn’t matter whether you’re aware of the event. It doesn’t matter whether you care about the event. It doesn’t matter whether you prepare for the event. I’m here to tell you that every believer shall stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. The first thing we need to know and understand is the certainty of the Judgment Seat of Christ. If you’re going to stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ which you are then it may be wise of you to prepare for the Judgment Seat of Christ. I ask the question again, are you ready for the Judgment Seat of Christ? Are you preparing for the Judgment Seat of Christ? Will you be ready to meet Christ at his judgment?

Number 1 – We see the certainty of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Number 2 – Let’s talk about the criteria of the Judgment Seat of Christ. If you are expected to prepare for the Judgment Seat of Christ, then you should be aware of the criteria of the Judgment Seat of Christ. What do I mean by criteria? The word criteria is defined as a standard of judgment or criticism, a rule or principle for evaluating or testing something. The point is this, not only is there a certainty to the judgments of Christ but there’s criteria. There are certain things that you’re going to be evaluated for, certain rules or principles that you’ll be scrutinized for. So, in order to prepare for the Judgment Seat of Christ, you should be aware of the criteria of the Judgment Seat of Christ. My hope is that tonight and the rest of your life, you will align your life in such a way to prepare for the Judgment Seat of Christ.

When you say this, people will think “I thought we weren’t saved by our works.”. Please understand, this is not a judgment in order to determine whether or not you’re going to get into heaven. That’s not what the Judgment Seat of Christ is. In fact, by the time you get to the Judgment Seat of Christ, you’re already in heaven. So, the Judgment Seat of Christ is not like we’re going to stand there then St. Peter will let us know if we made it in. If you are saved, the Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. If you aren’t saved, you are going to end up at the Great White Throne Judgment. There’s no getting out of that. The purpose of the Judgment Seat of Christ is not to judge your faith, it is to judge your works. This is not in regard to salvation.

2nd Corinthians 5:9 “9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.”. Why do we labour or work? To be accepted of him. By the way, the Judgement Seat of Christ is when you are going to find out what God thinks of you. I preached last week about God saying amen and affirming the life we lived. Some of you probably shrugged your shoulders but please realize there is a reason the verses are in the context which they are in. I want to get to heaven and have Jesus say, “Well done my good and faithful servant”.

The Bible says, “9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.”. What is the context? “10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; …”. This is not just a possibility, but it is a certainty. There will be a day where you get to heaven and your life will be evaluated. He will decide at that point whether to grant you his acceptance (not about going to heaven but about rewards for the work you did. The purpose of the Judgment Seat of Christ is to be judged by our works. “10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”. I’m here to tell you that you aren’t saved by works but you will be judged by your works.

In 1st Corinthians 3, he brings up the Judgment Seat of Christ. He brings up the judgments to Christ. Here’s what he says in verse 8 “8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one:…”. The idea is that it doesn’t really matter where in the line you are in regard to the work of God. You may be planting or watering. It doesn’t really matter because God is the one giving the increase. “8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”. God is not a communist. You are rewarded for your labor. What is the criteria for the Judgment Seat of Christ? We are judged for our works.

I want to be clear about this because this is something that people are often confused about in regard to the Judgment Seat of Christ. Let me just be clear that we will not be judged for our sins. You won’t be judged for your sins at the Judgment Seat of Christ. One of the reasons that people misunderstand it is because they don’t understand what the Apostle Paul is saying in 1st Corinthians 5:10. Look at the verse again. “10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”. Now people often see that phrase “whether it be good or bad” and they assume Christ is going to judge us for our sins at the Judgment. That is not true and let me prove that to you quickly. Turn to Leviticus 27.

When I was growing up, preachers would get up and preach about the Judgment Seat of Christ a lot. Whether they directly stated it or not, you walked away with this impression that God was going to bring down some big screen and show all of your sins at the Judgment Seat of Christ. They made it seem like he is going to criticize and rebuke you and embarrass you in front of everyone. However, when the Bible says you will be judged for the things good or bad, that’s not talking about sin. If it were talking about sin, that would contradict a lot of clear scriptures. When you get saved, your sins are gone. Jesus forgave. They’ll never be brought up again. The Judgment Seat of Christ is not a judgment of sin. When you see that phrase “whether it be good or bad”, it is not referring to “right or wrong”. It is a reference to their value. Let me just prove that to you quickly.

Leviticus 27:14 “14 And when a man shall sanctify his house…”. Here we are talking about a house. Notice, it’s being sanctified or separated. Basically, it is being given as a donation. ”14 And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the Lord, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.”. Notice that wort estimate. Estimate means to determine the value. This is a person who’s donating their house to God. It says the Priests shall estimate it whether it be good or bad. Now is that talking about morality? Is it a determination if the house is righteous or unrighteous? No, it is referring to the value of the house.

The truth is that at Church, people often want to donate things. I don’t want to hurt your feelings but oftentimes what is being donated is junk. They don’t want to go down to the dump or goodwill, so they just drop it off here. Sometimes it is broken or dirty and it is something we don’t have use for. So, this passage makes a lot of sense to me of the Priest valuing whether something is good or bad. The point is that the house is not being evaluated based on how moral it is. It’s being evaluated on what value it has.

Let me give you another example in Jeremiah chapter 24. I’m trying to make the point to you that the phrase good or bad is not a reference to morality, it’s not a reference to right or wrong, it’s a reference to value. In Jeremiah 24, he is talking about a vision that he had of a type of fruit, a fig. Jeremiah 24:1-2 “The Lord shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the Lord, after that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.”.

Now in our modern day, we would use the word naughty to refer to morality. However, that is not the way the Bible is using it. These figs are not obedient or disobedient. It’s referring to the value of them. When we say that the milk went bad, we aren’t saying that the milk rebelled and started hanging out with the wrong friends and joined a gang. We mean that the milk was good for drinking, but it went bad or rotten. It’s not edible anymore. It’s not valuable.

When the Bible says that we are going to be judged for our works whether they are good or bad, it’s not saying you will have your sins judged. If you’re saved, your sins were already judged on the cross when the soul of Jesus went down to hell to pay for your sins. You will never answer for them. However, you will be judged for your works whether they are good or bad, valuable or worthless.

Psalm 103:12 “12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”. What does that mean? That means that in the same way that east never catches west, my sins will never catch up to me either. I’ve been forgiven. He hath removed our transgressions from us. You will not be judged for your sins in heaven. Hebrews 8:12 “12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”. Now this point is really obvious, but you would be shocked how many Christians believe they will stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ before the Millennial Reign and if you didn’t do enough good then you will be thrown in hell for 1,000 years or something strange like that. That is never going to happen. If that happened, then that would make God a liar. Jesus said, “I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish.”. It doesn’t say they might perish for 1,000 years because they were bad. It says they shall never perish; they will never go to hell because the payment for hell was paid. So, the Judgment Seat of Christ is not a judgment of your sin. It is a judgment of your works, and it is a judgment of the value of your works.

Some of you are really relieved right now that your sins won’t be broadcast. If that is the way that you feel, then you have to take a look at yourself and ask how much sin you are involved in. Although it’s true that you won’t be judged for your sins, you will be judged for your works, and you’ll be judged for the value of your works.

In 1st Corinthians 3 Paul talks about the Judgment Seat of Christ. Now some people take verses 12 through 15 as being an analogy or allegorical but I tend to just take the Bible literally unless God tells me that it is a parable or unless it is obviously allegorical. 1st Corinthians 3:11 “11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”. Every saved person has been upon the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ. “12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;”. Gold, silver and precious stones are more valuable than wood, hay and stubble. Now again, I don’t know exactly how God is going to do this. God might quantify all the works you’ve ever done your whole life and physically cause it to appear in front of you.

Verse 13 “13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.”. The Bible says that our works will be made manifest. Again, it’s not our sins being shown. But it will be revealed the work we did for the Lord. The fire is going to try or test our work. Wood, hay and stubble have no real value. However, gold, silver and precious stones do. He’s going to take these and throw them into the fire and it will be made manifest or revealed by fire. When you throw gold, silver or precious stones in a fire, it’s refined or purified but nothing else happens. When you throw wood, hay or stubble in the fire, they are burned up.

Verse 14 “14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”. See, the good and bad is not a reference to morality. The idea is that your work is based on whether it was eternal or temporal. He’s using precious stones as an idea of something that’s going to last. Diamonds are forever as they say. Wood, hay and stubble burn up. You will be judged if the work you did was for the eternal or merely the temporal. In the life of a Christian, we will all do works that are for God and have eternal value and works that are not for God. The works that are not for God are not necessarily sinful, but they have no eternal value. God says that he will throw all of our works in the fire and those with eternal value will last.

Let me give you some examples or ways to earn rewards in heaven or at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Let me help explain to you what I mean by eternal or temporal. Maybe you do a lot of work in your backyard like gardening. There is nothing wrong with you cleaning up your yard, making it look nice, planting a garden, etc…However, you will not get any rewards in heaven for that. It’s temporal. Now there’s nothing wrong with that but what the Apostle Paul is trying to teach us is that he wants to make sure that we don’t get to the end of our lives and everything we put our focus on had no eternal value and gets burned up.

1st Corinthians 3:15 “15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:…”. What does that mean? It means there was potential for rewards, but they don’t end up getting those rewards. They never did anything eternal for God. The Bible is saying that some people will stand before God and all of their works will be burnt up because they didn’t do anything for God. Think about the soulwinning we do on Saturday mornings. If they believe and call upon Christ in faith, then they are saved but if they don’t start serving God then they won’t get rewards. Whether they realize it or not, “we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ.”.

Some people are going to be confused. They think they did a lot of great things for Christ like feed the homeless, volunteer at a park and those aren’t bad things. Those things are not sinful. However, they don’t get you eternal rewards. Paul was not merely being hypothetical when he said, “But to him that worketh not but believeth…”. There will literally be people who all of their works were burned up. All they ever did was believe on him. Their faith is counted for righteousness as the Bible says but they won’t get rewards. So, in 1st Corinthians 3:15, the Bible says, “15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”. I don’t want to be that guy in heaven who had all of my works burned up.

If you are wise, then you would wonder how to get rewards in heaven. Look, I don’t want to be the least in the kingdom of heaven. If you are the least then it will show to everyone that you are selfish, worldly, sinful, lived for yourself. At least our sins aren’t judged but there is more to life than just not sinning. So, the question is, how do we get rewards.

2nd Corinthians 5:11 “11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;…”. What is that referring to? It’s referring to soulwinning. Because we know the wrath of God abideth on the unsaved, we persuade men to get saved. This is like when Agrippa said to Paul “Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.”. We go out and we persuade men, knowing the terror of the Lord. This is in the context of the Judgment Seat of Christ. So, the major way that you can earn rewards is by investing in the eternal souls of men. The best way to do that is to go and get somebody saved. Jude speaks about this when it says, “22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”. So obviously soul winning is the number one way to earn rewards in heaven.

However, I will say that this is not just referring to soulwinning. It’s referring to any time you invest in the eternal soul of mankind. In my opinion it would also be with discipleship or raising your children to love God. A lot of people invest time to their kids being successful financially but don’t focus on getting them to love God. The Bible tells us to raise them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We saw with Elizabeth and John on Sunday of raising your kids to be spirit filled and to be separated. The greatest converts you may have as a soulwinning are your own children. So how do you earn rewards in heaven? Number 1 – investing in the eternal soul of men. However, there is another way to earn rewards in heaven.

I think that investing in souls is the best way, but I believe you should do all 3 of these things to get as many rewards as possible. Number 2 – You can earn rewards by converting the temporal into eternal. How do you do this? 1st Timothy 6:17 “17 Charge them that are rich in this world,…”. You might say that you aren’t rich. However, if you live in the United States of America in 2021, by any standard of world history, you’re rich. “17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;”.

The word communicate is like the word communist where they take and give away. However, this is not being forced by the Government. This is being done by your own will. This is talking about being generous and giving money. Verse 19 “19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come,…”. This is like investing but it’s not in the stock market. It’s investing in the bank of heaven. “19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”. Remember, the Apostle Paul talked about the fact that people gave to his ministry. He said “that ye might have fruit bounding to your account.”. How can you take physical money and get an eternal reward in heaven? Here’s how you do it. Support Brother Stucky in the Philippines. You take physical money and use it support the work of eternal souls being saved. When we support him or any Missionary actually doing the work of preaching the gospel and getting people saved, we are earning rewards. So, the Bible says that we can turn the temporal into the eternal.

Matthew 6:19 “19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”. Let me tell you something, if you are a lazy bum, the easiest way for you to earn some rewards in heaven is just a tithe. Just give to the work of God. Take the dirty, corrupt dollar bill and throw it in the offering plate and it turns into eternal value. I’m not here to talk to you about money but I’m giving an example of how you can turn the temporal into the eternal. I’m giving you an illustration.

Let me help you understand this. If you help somebody clean their house or clean up a park, then that is a nice thing. However, that is of no eternal value. If you help clean this building though then it can give you eternal rewards. Why is that? Because when you clean this building, you are doing it, you are cleaning this building so that people with eternal souls can sit down and walk in and have the word of God minister to their hearts. You are taking the temporal of cleaning and turning it into an eternal reward.

There’s a third way you can earn rewards and it’s by doing spiritual works. Look at Matthew 6:3 “But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:”. Alms is when you help somebody out financially that is struggling. This could be with groceries or rent. The key is that you aren’t doing these works to be seen of men. If you, do it to be seen of men, then you have your reward. Sometimes we take this to mean that God will openly reward us here on Earth but since he says he will reward us openly, I think he’s referring to at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Matthew 6:6 “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”. Verse 17 “17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.”. If you go around telling everybody that you’re fasting, then you’ve lost your rewards. If you’re doing it to be seen of men, then there is no reward. However, when in your own personal home, you are getting on your knees and praying to God, there is a reward for that. When you invest into the work of God, you’re earning rewards in heaven. When you preach the gospel to somebody, whether they get saved or not, you are getting rewards. Why? Those are things of eternal value.

We talked about the certainty of the Judgment Seat of Christ. We talked about the criteria of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Let me just quickly talk to you about the compensation of the Judgment Seat of Christ. 2nd Corinthians 5:10 “10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”. 1st Corinthians 3:8 “Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”. The Bible says that you will receive your own reward. If your husband reads the Bible a lot, then that is great, but it doesn’t earn you rewards as the wife. If your wife goes soulwinning a lot, then that is great, but you don’t earn rewards as the husband for that.

Revelation 22:12 “12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”. When will you be rewarded? During the Millennial Reign of Christ. Revelation 20:4-5 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”. That’s the rapture. We will receive rewards and rule and reign with Christ.

We talked about the certainty of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Whether you realize it or not, you have an appointment with God and Jesus. We talked about the criteria of the Judgment Seat of Christ. You’re going to be judged for your works, not for your sins. But you will be judged for your works whether they were good or bad. This is not a reference to morality but a reference to value. Whether you put your time and energy and resources into that which is temporal or into that which is eternal. By the way, that’s why I try not to get too caught up into politics. It’s wood, hay and stubble.

Then we talked about the compensation of the Judgment Seat of Christ. We will receive rewards and rule and reign with Christ. 2nd Corinthians 5:10 “10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”. Here’s a question for you. Are you ready for the Judgment Seat of Christ? Are you preparing for the Judgment Seat of Christ? How will the Judgment Seat of Christ go for you? Here’s the answer. We should all be preparing and aligning our lives. Nothing wrong with being involved in that which is temporal but making sure that our focus is on that which is eternal? Why? Because we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Let’s pray.
